Stewardship Reflection

Stewards Guided by the Holy Spirit

“The disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 13:52)

Because the disciples had heard Our Lord’s call, they were able to spread the message of the Gospel with strength and vitality. We, too, can experience that same joy if we take time to listen to God, to ask for His direction and to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our lives of stewardship.

*******************************

“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10)

*******************************

We know from the Bible that everything we have is a gift from God. We are stewards-managers of the many gifts God has given to us. As Christian stewards, we recognize that all that we are-all that we have-belongs to God, and we are accountable to Him for the use of all things. Therefore, we must live and give as Christians, generously sharing our God-given gifts of time, talent and treasure.

HERE you will find a list of our many parish ministries and activities. So many of you are using your gifts and sharing them with the larger community. This is what it means to be a CHURCH. This is what makes us a parish.

Please take the time to prayerfully reflect on how you have been gifted by God and how you may become a more effective disciple of the Lord by sharing the gifts given to you.

God bless!
