Penance and Reconciliation

After the Resurrection, Jesus established this sacrament for his followers. He realized that even after Baptism we would still have to deal with the reality of sin. Out of his great love, Jesus instituted this sacrament through which a sinner who is sorry receives pardon and peace and is restored to the fullness of grace with God.

Priests are available for Reconciliation Saturdays from 4:00 to 4:35 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Every First Saturday after the 8:00 AM Mass at Immaculate Conception or by appointment.

First Reconciliation

Children receive the sacrament of First Reconciliation in the Second Grade. Children must be enrolled in ICRS or CCD to receive first Reconciliation.

Adults receive First Reconciliation through the RCIA program
