It is only natural to discover that the large triptych French stained glass window by Maumejean, of Paris at the back of the sanctuaryis dedicated to the Patroness of this church - the Immaculate Conception. the middle panel of this magnificent jewell-toned window pictures the Blessed Mother surrounded by cherubim. On the left is St. Bernard kneeling on a book, with his monastery at Clairvaux in the background. On the right panel is pictured Pope Piux IX, who proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. In a standing position and clothed in full pontifical robes, Pope Piux IX holds in his left hand the manuscript bearing the first words of the proclamation, while his right hand is raised in the act of proclaiming. In the background is the basilica of St. Peter.
