The side walls of the sanctuary are completely covered in marble - various colors being used in geometric designs ti break the monotony of the straight walls. The liturgical altar is framed with marble, matching the three steps leading to it. Bronze grilled doors lead to the sacristy and to the supply room. A sedilia of Pavanazzo marble flanks the right wall.
The Beautiful altar rail is a combination of bronze medallions of wheat and grape design symbolizing the Holy Eucharist, with columns and table of Breccia Medicea marble.
